Center for Digital History and Education

The Center for Digital History and Education at UMBC (CDHE), based in the Department of History, participates in university-wide digital humanities initiatives, develops partnership projects with public institutions, and seeks funding from grant-making agencies interested in the improvement of education, public history, and digital scholarship.

Through its affiliation with the Center for History Education (CHE), CDHE has developed numerous K-12 curriculum materials, including lesson plans, History Labs, assessment resources, digital storybooks, electronic field trips, and an iPad app.
